Yes.  Its true.  After years of talk, rumors and speculation, Drift Lounge has decided (and started) to build an out door pool.

Located in the old parking lot between Drift and American Junkie, the ameba shaped pool is about 20 feet long and 15 feet wide.

We're interested to see how the pool concept plays out.  The W Hotel recently had to crack down on their pool and stop allowing non-guests access.  Will skip the legal talk and give you the Cliff Notes:

Basically, the W Hotel was treating their private pool like a public pool (in order to generate big bar business) without all the necessary safety, liability and insurance requirements.  Sexy W Life Guards... just a thought.

Being that we are big fans of The Old Town Scottsdale Group, the management company that owns Stingray, Geisha, Drift and the newly opened Jimmy Woo's, we have decided to help them out with a name for the pool.  We like "The Oasis Pool by Drift".

Any suggestions?  We'll submit them to Drift!!!
