Angels and Outlaws Now Open
Friday, 19 June 2009 19:31

Angels and Outlaws opened there doors for the first time last night for an industry preview party. Who can resist an open bar, right?

I guess not many since the place filled up quick, which isquit an accomplishment since Angels and Outlaws is huge.

Thegiant wooden dance floor is surrounded by leather booths on oppositesides, atwo story DJ booth/fireplace and tables along one wall, andan indoor/outdoorbar on the other. (take look atthe pics!) The patio, which is just as large as the interior space, has a bar against the far wall and tables along its sides.

The clientele was a little older than what you might find in Old Town, but dressed the same way. And don't worry, the only bikers you'll find at Angels and Outlaws are the North Scottsdale weekend riders, aka yuppies.I don't think real bikers would even be allowed in, I mean, the guy in front of me wasn't allowed in because he had ahat on!

The real question is of course how will Angels and Outlaws perform? Tucked away in the corner, the location is said to be cursed.  Even Mynx, which was owned by the same people who own Tao of Las Vegas, failed after only a few months. Now that Barcelona is closing their doors for the summer, perhaps Angels and Outlaws can steal those customers.  Angels and Outlaws only real competition is Devil's Martini North which is only a block away.
